How should I add new weekly, yearly, and monthly budgets?
We understand how important it is to be able to set different budgets depending on a variety different circumstances! That’s why the Fortune City team is now offering subscribers the ability to set weekly, monthly, and yearly budgets, allowing you even more customizable options for more advanced budget management!
As an example, suppose you’d like to set a yearly budget for “insurance” expenses. You can:
- Go to Budget Settings
- Tap the + in the upper right corner
- Select “Yearly Budget”
- Set an amount and select a category
In addition, when setting a weekly or monthly budget, the budget period will follow the start date you’ve indicated on the settings page and can be changed.
For example, suppose you’ve set the start date as follows:
- Start week on: Tuesday
- Start month on: 15
So, if you set a weekly budget it will also start on a Tuesday and end the following Monday. Similarly, if you set a monthly budget it will begin on the 15th of each month and end on the 14th of the following month.
