Why does the message "Not qualified" show up when I invite friends to join a epic mission?

Each epic mission has its own threshold requirements. E.g. "Having explored more than 15 planets" or "Having completed 30 basic missions". For this reason, your friends must have reached the minimum threshold before they can join a fleet.
